Autumn term start !

The autumn term start from last week. One week past very soon and I met some new teacher in the classes. There are many types of classes especially in English classes so I want to learn many things from each teachers. Most of classes I have in this term is English class. In this term, I want to set my distinct goal. I'm going to use new words which I learn in my writing and improve my vocabulary.

Anyway, I'm happy that I can study with my section mates again.

My summer vacation

Today is last day of this summer vacation. In this summer, I had a plan to study in NZ using SEA program. however, I didn't go because of bad health. It was sad that I did't go abroad in this summer but I recharged myself in Japan to study from September with good condition. Now, I'm fine so I'll be careful to my health.
I didn't go to abroad but I went to Simoda, Sizuoka with my friends at last of my summer vacation. It was very fun trip! We stayed a  cottage. There ware one big room so we cooked dinner and sleep together. It was like a big family! I really enjoyed this trip. I thanks my friends :) I'm looking forward to trip again with my friends.

Continue to learning Fallacies

In the last class of ARW, we had a discussion and Course Wide Test about Fallacies. There are many kind of Fallacies and some of those are similar. Some questions of CWT is difficult to judge that  which is the correct one. Especially, sweeping generalization and Hasty generalization is very similar. Anyway, Fallacies are important for us to learn in college. I have to continue to learn Fallacies.

Various Fallacies

In the last class, we learned about various Fallacies. I learned this of Japanese when I was in high school and I felt that it is difficult. Then, I learned this by English in the college. I couldn't understand about Red herring at first. However, step by step, I understand these thanks to my friends and teacher's explanation. Blogs written by my friends also help me to understand definition of Fallacies.

Find key point!

In the last class of ARW, I learned about syllogism and fallacies. It is difficult but this way of thinking is very important and useful for my essay. When I wrote and read long paragraph, sometimes I misunderstand the main idea. So to find key point and connect them help me to understand more clearly.

66%: How much could I learn?

I was surprised that 66% of contents of the class are already done. It is very fast that to the time have passes. There is no time only to think that I have to do... I have to do....
How much could I learn from 66% of the class? From now on, how much can I learn from the left class?
I thanks that there are many people who teach me around me, teacher, friends and "Grammarly". However, only the things what I "DO" can improve my English skill.

Before I take this class, I had never written or read blog but I'm going to continue this blog after this class end.

I love reading novel so I'm looking forward to reading " Old Man and Sea."

How to start writing

Through LBH and videos, I learned about how to write outline and draft. It is first step to write five paragraph. It is a draft so I don't have to write complete writing and it is OK to use "?" if I don't have enough information to write.   

When I write something, I tend to think about the thing only in my mind. So I have to write down the process of my thought. 

Also, When I write, I often go to library to concentrate writing because there is not noise.  However, sometimes speaking someone about the content is important, too.
